We tell so many incredible stories on the ProShow. Today's guest is definitely in the Top 3 for perseverance and determination. Michael Strain is a PGA Professional who will be teeing it up in next week's PGA Professional Championship.
The tournament will be held at the Omni Barton Creek Resort in Austin, Texas. Together with another 311 PGA Professionals, Michael will try to earn one of 20 spots for next month's PGA Championship at Southern Hills Country Club in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Whether Michael makes it or not is actually irrelevant. Just getting to the national championship was a tremendous accomplishment. Michael was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer in late 2019. Now he's playing in the PPC. You have to hear his story, it will just amaze you. Most of all it will make you appreciate all your world has inside it.
